Hey guys please vote for my girlfriend (if you deem her worthy)! She’s a finalist at this year’s Philippine Graphic Design Awards!  It’s a friggin textbook researched, compiled, branded, designed, illustrated and laid out by one person! A friggin textbook! Socially relevant and aesthetically pleasing, what more can you ask for!?  Yeah, it’s a textbook that aims to teach children about histories behind the imagery found on the mundane, everyday thing we call money. It’s got facts, activities, fun related stories (ala-Ambeth Ocampo) and even pages with slots you can put your money in and it aligns to trivia!  I have other friends who are finalists too so check them out! Reese’s DIY or Die is a creative book of engaging people into arts! Sev’s Drumocracy is a cool, fun and effective way to learn drumming! I should know, an afternoon with it and i’m already kicking beats…kinda!  and Tata-of-all-Trade’s Barangay Bahagi! A project that encourages people to share and bring light to local problems and issues through the use of photography and an easy to use website!
